I just am curious. What did you like about Brazil? What did you dislike? I’ve never been there yet. The only thing I know about it is that this is the native location of the acai berry (if I remember right) and that the beaches are nice. I know a little bit about the indigenous people, but not much.
Beaches are lovely.
And guys if you think to go there for the girls don’t mistake yourself. There’s bad and good there too…
There is a lot of robbery… Sorry to tell you.
I actually had a very similar experience to Giving…
Florianopolis in the South was incredible, beautiful women, manicured lawns, boutique shops, pristine tropical ocean views… Then I went to Rio…
I probably saw maybe 3 or 4 local girls that I thought were attractive the whole time I was there and every second person I spoke to at the hostel had been robbed… I had at least 3 failed pickpocket attempts. Brazil is great but stick to the South if you want a stress free trip.
But the landscapes in the South are so gorgeous!!
It’s absolutely gorgeous but it is very dangerous and not so glamorous like anyone would think. Get to know the areas inside and out and you will be fine.
This is not the experience I read about. I heard that some areas are dangerous and some areas are not. I think just like anywhere else in the world you have to know where you are going.
To user ‘Giving’
Thank you for the warning. I’m sure there is safety precautions. I wouldn’t go off with just anyone, but anyone can get robbed anywhere in the world.
I think it would be nice to visit Brazil. However, I’m used to colder weather. Isn’t it hot there most of the time?
@GregH, i have to agree with you. You can be robbed anywhere in the world.
Well there are hot temperatures in there, as cold ones. But if you live in a colder Country you will notice some changes.
The food and beverages are great. The famous ”Caipirinha” is delicious.
If you stay in the good areas you will be fine. Like it was said it is no different from anywhere else. Keep away from the bad areas. Learn about it before going too.
I really want to visit Brazil but like anywhere else you need to do your research and find where the good and bad areas are.
And you must have money!!!
